Daniel Aranda y Annatina Luck - Argentina
Daniel Aranda starts dancing at the age of eight at the "Asociación Amigos del Tango"in Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires, with his teacher Gustavo Saucedo. In the following year he continuos his formation in the Cultural Center of Florencio Varela with the teachers Fabian Ballejos and Flavia Cristaldo, studying there for four years. Hi is chosen to enter the “Academia de Estilos de Tango Argentino” (ACETA) and is given the opportunity to take classes with teachers like: Nito and Elba Garcia, Carlos and Rosa Perez, Coca and Osvaldo, Daniel "El Flaco"Garcia, "Pupy"Castello, Eduardo Pareja, "Pocho"Pizarro, some of the most important teachers of the "Milonguero" style; while in the style "tango salon", amongst others there were Fernando and Vilma, Natalia Hills and Francisco Forquera.
Daniel and Annatina have performed in Milongas such as Club Gricel, Confiteria Ideal, Tangocool Villa Malcom, Porteño y Bailarin, Nuevo Chique, Bien Porteño, Circulo Apolo, Glorias Argentinas with Orchestras like "Sexteto Milonguero", and "Los Reyes del Tango".
In the beginning of 2010, Daniel receives the award "Gardel in Avellaneda" in honor of his achievements in Tango in Buenos Aires, and they are invited to dance in the famous "Teatro Roma", where Carlos Gardel has sang many times.
In 2010/11 they toured through Europe for 5 month to give classes, shows and seminars in the following places: Zürich, Posciavo, Lugano (Switzerland), Athens, Preveza Volos (Greece), Munich, Berlin, (Germany) Brujas, (Belgium), Copenhaguen (Denmark) and Istanbul (Turkey)
Annatina and Daniel are the featured dancers in Gustavao Saba's new book and DVD: NEW GLOSSARY OF TANGO DANCE, with foreword by Juan Carlos Copes and Carlos Gavito.
Daniel was a featured dancer in the short film „la Apertura“, starring Miguel Angel Zotto. He has also worked as an Assitant to Osvaldo Zotto. He has performed in Tango houses in Buenos Aires such as „Tango Palace“ and for over 2 years at „Tango Porteño“ sharing the stage with legendary Juan Carlos Copes.
Annatina coming from contemporary dance background has performed at the Lisner Auditorium in Washington DC, at the Thalia Theater, New York City, and has performed and tauhgt for many years in New York City.
