JADRANKA JOVANOVIĆ - SERBIA & MONTENEGRO

For many years now Jadranka Jovanović has been a synonym for vocal art in Serbia and Montenegro and according to critic of the Messaggero Veneto from Trieste...she has everything that a genuine Primadonna should have...

Born in Belgrade (Serbia). In her native-town she graduated - B.A. in theory of music and solo singing, and M.A. in solo singing. She debuted as Rosina in Rossini`s Il Barbiere di Seviglia at the National Theatre in Belgrade, where interpreted all main mezzo-soprano roles.

Her international career started at the Teatro alla Scala. She mostly performed in Italian theatres, opera houses and festivals .

She also sang in various operas in other countries: Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, France, Czechoslovakia, Greece, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, USA, Japan, Brazil, Egypt etc.

This year she has started collaboration with orchestra Beltango and for the first time she performed music of Astor Piazzolla.
